In the capital of Thailand-Bangkok, there are actually many locations to eat. But its fun if we looking for eat locations with walk to enjoy the scenery first. One of the suitable locations is the Chao Phraya river area which divides the city of Bangkok.
We could start the journey from Sophan Thaksin pier, not far from Silom road. By paying around 20 baht, we can start enjoying boarding a boat passing on the Chao Phraya river.
Chao Phraya River as usual busy with ships. The width of this river can reach 100 meters. With such width is enough for a variety of transport ships crossing back and forth. One of them is a transport boat for Bangkok residents. In addition to office buildings, there are also bridges and places of worship for Buddhists alongside the river.

Patin Sensation

After crossing the river, then down at the Wang Lang dock. Near the Wang Lang pier there is a famous restaurant called Krua Rakang Thong. According to the owner, the restaurant has been established for 20 years. The food at this restaurant is varied, and of course with Thai specialties. The appetizer menu can be started with Tom Yum Kung soup. Here the soup besides feels spicy and hot, filled with large shrimp. Enough to warm up the opening before eating the main meal.
White rice with large catfish dishes, with herbs and cashews and charred red chili, is a main dish that cannot be forgotten. The taste of crispy catfish, and spicy seasoning, does not make it bored to continue to add. The cashews inside, make it taste a little weird, but it matches with Asian’s tongue. When you try the charred little chili, the spicy flavor spreads frivolously. Not to mention the garlic and small pieces of vegetables on top. Make the taste more unique.
To be more satisfied, the main course can be added with Yam Thua Phu. A type of fried shrimp, which is given thick gravy and decorated with boiled eggs around it. Shrimp taste like dry crackers, but become tasty because they are mixed with the taste of boiled egg yolks. Among these uniqueness, the taste becomes more crowded because there is always spicy that infiltrate.
Enjoy it all while drinking coconut ice and enjoying the night that began to rule the earth, like endless gratitude. Because it is still given the opportunity to enjoy the taste of Thailand which is quite well known in the world. (Sulung Prasetyo)
